Projects

Real projects

Management applications, game backends, platforms, artificial intelligence and infrastructure for companies, agencies and organisations across very different sectors. For each one: what the problem was, how it was solved and what changed.

End-to-end management for a transport company

A transport company with its own fleet that works with the Port of Valencia.

The challenge
Coordinating orders, routes, vehicles and drivers every day, while keeping up with port procedures and the accounts.
The solution
A custom application with orders and routes, fleet and maintenance, refrigerated units, delivery and consignment notes, incidents and a mobile version for drivers. Real-time alerts, orders that arrive on their own from the Port of Valencia’s PCS and delivery notes that go straight to Sage 50.
The result
All operations in a single tool, with the port and the accounts connected.

Membership management from start to finish

An organisation with thousands of members.

The challenge
Handling sign-ups, renewals and payments for thousands of members without paper or spreadsheets, and not leaving seats empty when someone cannot attend.
The solution
A platform with step-by-step sign-up and documents, annual renewal, direct debits, a wallet and a membership card on the phone. If a member cannot go, they release their seat: it is resold and they receive credit.
The result
The whole member lifecycle in a single tool, in several languages, and fewer empty seats.

AI-powered customer service

A customer service team with several departments.

The challenge
Queries spread across several mailboxes and lots of repeated questions.
The solution
A ticketing portal that also turns emails from several mailboxes into tickets. AI classifies each query, filters out spam and answers on its own whatever is clearly in the knowledge base. For agents, it summarises the ticket.
The result
Instant answers to the usual questions, at any time. The team focuses on what really needs a person.

Backend and operations panel for mobile games

A mobile game studio I have worked with since 2015.

The challenge
A live game needs a server that can handle every player at once and a team that can run it every day: events, tournaments, purchases and support.
The solution
The backend and API for the games: moderated real-time chat, leagues, tournaments and playoffs, in-game purchases and mass push notifications, on MongoDB and Redis. And a panel for the team with production and test environments, events, offers, currencies, support and reports.
The result
The studio launches events and tournaments, manages offers and supports players from its own panel, without touching the code.

One account for every application

An organisation with many applications and a very varied audience.

The challenge
Each application had its own sign-up. The same person ended up with several accounts, and consents were duplicated.
The solution
An in-house identity system, with email codes and sign-in with Google, Apple or Microsoft. It centralises consents and tags each person according to their relationship with the organisation. It is connected to the Shopify store.
The result
One account per person and a single customer database. The shop recognises members and applies their discount without them having to do anything.

Platforms for the healthcare sector

Communication agencies and laboratories in the healthcare sector.

The challenge
Bringing healthcare professionals together in a private space, getting audiences involved at conferences and supporting patients outside the consulting room.
The solution
Private communities for doctors with forums, documents, meetings and notices; conference apps with live questions and voting; a portal of health questions answered by doctors; and a voice assistant on Alexa for patients, with their medication.
The result
Each need with its own custom tool: from the professional community to the conference and the patient’s home.

Demand peaks without downtime

A venue with high-demand events.

The challenge
Opening ticket sales without the website going down, and validating at the gate even when the mobile network is saturated.
The solution
A virtual waiting room in front of the website and an access app that validates at each gate even without coverage and, when online, instantly alerts the others.
The result
Sales hold up under the peak and entry to the venue keeps flowing.

Intranet with e-signature

A company with several departments and paper-based approval workflows.

The challenge
Holidays, expenses and purchases were approved with paperwork passed from desk to desk.
The solution
Each type of request follows its chain of signatories. Around it: the work calendar, room and car bookings, inventory, a supplier portal and ERP lookups.
The result
No paper in those workflows, and a record of who approved what and when.

Infrastructure that keeps running

An organisation with several sites and services that cannot go down.

The challenge
Making sure a failed line or server leaves nobody without service.
The solution
Redundant routers, several lines with automatic failover, clustered databases, virtualisation with verified backups and a dashboard with the live network status. For emergencies, access over 4G.
The result
If a line or server goes down, service continues and the dashboard reports what happened.
